GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE AUDITS

[ Have clipboard, will travel ]

Getting audited is scary ... especially if it's the IRS doing it. But getting a gameday experience audit performed by Old Hat can give you insight into what's great (and not so great) about your gameday atmosphere. We can provide you with actionable steps to provide your fans a better experience and make them leave happy (no matter the score). The really good news is that unlike the IRS, we have ZERO ability to seize all your assets.

HOW IT WORKS

We can't give away our secret sauce on exactly what we do and how we do it. Old Hat's team combines for more than 80 years working both in and for athletics organizations so we know our way around a stadium/arena pretty well. If you're looking to drive attendance and keep fans coming back, an audit from Old Hat might be a great place to start. Here are the basics of how it works...

STEP 1: THE GOALS

We kick things off by getting to the heart of what you're trying to accomplish. Wanting to raise ticket prices but need ways to improve so your fans won't revolt? Having attrition in attendance but not sure why? Season ticket holders not renewing? Or just looking for ways to make your overall experience better for fans? We approach each audit differently, based on the information you're wanting to receive. So once we establish goals, we'll formulate a gameplan.

STEP 2: THE AUDIT

We'll schedule our audit around an event that works for you and we'll show up, clipboard in hand. From pregame tailgating, to traffic egress and everything in between, we'll perform an exhaustive audit of every single aspect of your gameday experience. Here's a list of some of the things we'll provide ratings and feedback on:

  • Tailgating

  • Ingress

  • Wayfinding

  • Pregame

  • Band/Cheer

  • Promotions

  • Customer Service (ticket takers)

  • Concessions (options/service)

  • Security/Ushers

  • Videoboard elements

  • P.A.

  • Environmental Graphics

  • Cleanliness

  • Clubs/Suites/Lounges

  • Food Quality

  • Branding

STEP 3: THE REPORT

Once the audit has been conducted, we'll get our team together to share notes and put all of the ratings/responses into a database. We will develop a comprehensive report that we will deliver both through an online presentation as well as a PDF copy that can be distributed and discussed among your staff. The final report will not just be a presentation of findings but will contain a series of actionable steps your organization can take toward providing your fans with the best gameday experience possible.
