Hey blog readers! Dustin here, back in action after a many day hiatus from the Old Hat blog. I spent most of this time I've been gone eating a plethora of Thanksgiving grub and sitting on the couch watching football. But we're back now.

• Are you one of those people who get all stressed out looking at photos of celebrities and models in your daily reading? There's a new push to rate the severity of Photoshopping of these images. A photo that may have had just minor touchups would be a 1, while a full-scale Photoshop onslaught would rate a 5. Some research suggests that these images may lead to body image anxiety, especially among young women.

Personally I don't care if they start labeling these images. But I also already knew that most of these images aren't 100% real. I guess I figured most other intelligent people knew that as well.

• Alfred for Mac - Very cool productivity software for your Mac. Best of all it's free! (Although from what I hear the Powerpack add-on is well worth it.)

• Now that Thanksgiving is over it's all about Christmas here around The Hat. Of course we've spent lots of time decorating the office with all manner of wreaths, lights, trees and all the other accoutrement you'd expect to accompany Christmas.

Ok, not really.

But Deb does have this lovely USB tree plugged in at her desk. Thanks for the Holiday cheer Deb.
