This Week in 1995- Gary Payton was the first NBA player to wear a pair of rubber gloves during a game.
I was reminded on my way into work this morning that on this day last year Oklahoma got 12 inches of snow! Today at noon it's going to be in the low 60's. Crazy.
So...now that we're done with the weather, on to the news.
• Old Hat attended the National Sports Forum in Oklahoma City these past couple of days. Old Hat's Tracie Hitz was there the whole time chatting it up and getting some good info on things to implement in 2012.
On the second day of the conference Zac and Tracie presented on a panel alongside OU's Charlie Taylor and South Carolina's Eric Nichols. The title of their presentation was: Creating your Roadmap through the Digital World: Where Sometimes Going Forward Can Mean Changing Directions. (Now say that three times fast.)
We had some good feedback on the session and then spent the evening partnering with the OKC Thunder to host a section of the Chesapeake Arena. Most of the Old Hat staff came to mingle and tell people about what we can do for you this year. (The rest came to drink free beer, but hey, can you blame them?)

(Kevin gets mentally prepared for the onslaught of thirsty NSF attendees.)

(Yours truly at the Old Hat Photobooth doing my best Uncle Sam impersonation.)
• If you want the full scoop on what went down at NSF this year then follow @traciehitz on twitter for her reactions.
Thanks for stopping by today and see you tomorrow.
